For our English speaking friends: Join our conference!

When we will celebrate 10 years of netzpolitik.org on 17th of October there will be a lot of talks in English, too. „Only a monster has Five Eyes“ of Eric King for example or „Censorship is Private, too“ by Jillian C. York, just to name two of them. So it is well worth to come even if you are not a German speaker.

Here is some information you’ll need:

The conference will take place in the „Kesselhaus“ of Kulturbrauerei in Berlin-Prenzlauer-Berg from 9:30 am till 18:30 pm.

Tickets

There are three kinds of tickets. People who actively engage for fundamental digital rights get a reduced fee of only 10 Euros. To get the discount code you need to book the ticket, write us a mail to konferenz@netzpolitik.org and tell us who you are and what you do – of course unless we also know you. Students, pensioners, receivers of unemployment money and handicapped people pay a reduced
ticket price of 15 Euros. Just show us your attestation at the entry.

The normal price is 50 Euros. People who pay this refinance the debate and its expenses.

Programme

Just browse through our schedule and see what is offered. Seven of the main talks will be held in English and a lot of our Pecha-Kucha-like presentations, too!

Party

After the conference we want to celebrate with you. It will begin with a lecture of our funniest comments and maybe some discussions. After that you can dance till the sun rises. Where the party takes place will be announced shortly beforehand on a one-time-mailinglist. Send an empty mail to party-ml-subscribe@netzpolitik.org to stay informed!

Sponsoring

We are also looking for sponsors and funding to keep prices low and maybe provide some free beer at the party. Who is interested can write to werbung@netzpolitik.org.
